What is the game about?

Vida in short is a life simulation game with the intention of being a little deeper in terms of strategy and resource management in the gameplay than the ones that we have right now (the sims for example).

You will start poor and will figure out your way into the game. Not necessarily the main objective is to get rich or be succeful in any carrer, the objective here is to live the life the way you want and experience what the game has to offer while playing between the generations of your family.

I plan to do a set of achievements that will be a kind of a guide on what you can do to experience the game. It will no matter if you decide to live as a rich or a poor person, there will be achievements of all kinds like: spend half of life homeless, accumulate 100k of money, donate 50k to charity, live a life without getting a job, be in the top of specific carrer and so forth.

Early concepts that I have in mind:

Needs
The basic needs of the character - this include: energy, fun, social, hungry, bath and hygiene.

Humor
This is how you character is feeling - this include: Spirit (happy or sad), Anxiety (chilled or anxious) and hostility (calm or angry).

Health
Basically are diseases that you character may suffer depending on the conditions of his lifestyle. Genetic diseases will exists too.
Some examples: flu, depression, cancer, alopecia, diabete and so on.

Performance
It defines how the character is felling about doing certain tasks: this compreends body (how you character will perform in physical activities) and mind (how your character will perform in activites that requires thought).

All four items above may affect one another.

Traits
This are personal traits of each character that you play, some may born with him and some may come depending of the education that the character receive as a child. Examples: introvert, social guy, likes to study, naturally beautiful, likes to be alone and so on.

Knowledge
Measures how much the character knows about the three areas of knowledge that exists in the game:  Fitness, logics and creativity.

Inheritance
The core element that will let you live how many styles of live you want, just don't forget to have childs (or adopt one). If you die and have no childs, your family will be over. Of course you can always start another family, but the achievement list will be reseted.

Look
This is how attractive to npcs your character is. It will be determined by the clothes, hair style, personality and the natural beauty of your character. 

Carrer progressions, random events, sale buildings (pharmacy, drug dealer, clothing store, barber, etc.) will be present in the game too.
